J.K. Rowling is an incredible, award winning, author who wrote the fantasy world of wizarding; Harry Potter. Rowling has also had some other favourites for children: The Christmas Pig and Fantastic beasts. All of her spectacular books are extremely innovative and lovable. My personal favourite novel is the third in the Harry Potter series, The Prisoner Of Azkaban.

Harry Potter

The bestselling Harry Potter book series follows Harry Potter, a famous wizard, as he goes through Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He meets only two friends, and makes some enemies. Harry gets himself and friends into trouble all the time with school rules being broken frequently. I love this book and it is incredibly well written. I would 100% recommend this fantasy book to anyone above the age of 6.

The Christmas Pig

The Christmas pig, one of J.K. Rowling’s newer books, is a heart-warming festive tale about Jack’s, the main character, love for his toy pig; DP (Dur Pig) is Jack’s favourite thing in the world. DP is lost and Jack and the ‘Things’ must go to the land of the lost to rescue him before it is too late. I would definitely recommend this book as your December read or for children of any age.
