Stranger things

The junior novelisation

This book is one that I recently read and is a great way to plunge into the awesome world of Stranger Things. It is a less gory and scary version of the hit Netflix show – which is also amazing. It is well written and for ages 10 and up.

There is barely any swearing with some violence but it is overall a safe read for all fans of thrillers. After reading this, I went on to the show and it has further amazed me. The writing and plot is outstanding and we are on the verge of season 5 which is supposed to be more adult. I recommend season 1 and 2 as that is what I have watched but the other seasons are also supposed to be great.

Hello all, I am now further in with the show and must report that it gets a lot scarier and violent, especially in season four. There are several scenes depicting demonic characters, disfigured corpses and stitched up eyes in season 4. This is edging more towards the 15+ category. The show still makes me laugh and has some great messages as well as an outstanding sound track. My favourite season is season 4 followed closely by season 3 and 1 tied.
