This book is an amazing read by James Dashner. This book, which is dystopian and action-packed, was written in 2009 with 2 more books and 2 prequels. The maze runner also has a major motion picture adaptation on Disney plus.

The book is about a world where you come up through the floor in the box to a natural land called the glade. 16 year-old Thomas, the main character, has the glade as a home and wants nothing but to escape the place. The glade is completely surrounded by a huge maze that holds the most disgusting creatures; grievers are out to kill and ravage all of the Gladers and stop them from leaving.
